It is a route that grows mainly in Valtenesi, the southwestern part of the Garda. A land full of vineyards that produce wines like Garda Classico, and olive groves.
We await castles, fortresses, churches and delightful streets drawn by nature that make this journey pleasant and surprising.
We begin this tour starting from the main office of Slow Drive in Padenghe sul Garda with a visit of the marvelous medieval castle from where you can enjoy a picturesque view of the lake with Sirmione in the foreground.
Tour continues along scenic roads and through the villages called the pearls of Garda Bresciano as Moniga - land of Chiaretto, Manerba del Garda and the port of San Felice that enclosure all the characteristics of the place into a breathtaking view.
We continue to Salò enjoying all the lake views that each gentle curve gives us and arrive in Gardone Riviera. Step recommended to the “Italian Vittoriale” where you can do a simple walk in the garden or visit the home of Gabriele D'Annunzio.
We continue the tour following direction Puegnago del Garda, the country standing on a gentle hill overlooking the Garda and continue to Polpenazze where we suggest a visit to the old town inside the remains of the ancient medieval castle.
Soiano del Lago, a land of many olive groves, offers you fantastic views on every curve of the road.The tour continues with a visit to the south of the hidden and little known Castel Drugolo, XIV century, and the fraction of Maguzzano with its Benedictine Abbey.
Lonato is where we suggest a visit to the Rocca Visconteo Veneta, a thousand-year fortress that dominates the lower lake Garda.
Desenzano del Garda is the final destination, the capital of Lake Garda, where the walk is a must in the old town and also the visit to the Roman villa where you can admire the magnificent mosaics.
