The 2nd series of Alfa Romeo Spider “Fast Back" was produced from 1969 to 1982.
Presented in 1969 at the Turin Motor Show the second set of the Duetto is characterized by the "cut tail", in reference to the aerodynamic theories propounded by Professor Kamm, for a major push forward.
Even the bumpers have been modified, were made of stainless steel and profile rubber protection, in addition to greater inclination of the windshield, with the benefit of the design and aerodynamics.
Also the roof was changed, now with internal attacks for a better water protection and more resistant. The length decreased from 4.25 m and 4.12 m.
Since 1972, we see the return of the 1600 cc engine powered by 2 carburetors double body horizontal Dell'Orto, Weber or Solex.
