The Abarth 124 Spider is officially presented at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The car is inspired by the lines of the Fiat 124 Abarth Rally progenitor, with larger and more captivating air intakes, double Record Monza rear exhausts with Dual Mode (which opens a valve in the silencer to have more rumble or silence if necessary) and a two-tone body paint with the engine hood and trunk painted in black like the ancestor and red details such as the front spoiler, the mirror caps and the badge in the grille. The MultiAir 1.4 turbo l4 engine delivers 170 HP and 250 Nm of torque with a top speed of 232 km / h and acceleration from a standstill in 0-100 km / h of 6.8 seconds, thanks to the low weight of just 1,060 kg (10 kg more than the basic version which become 1080 with automatic transmission) and with a 50:50 weight distribution between the axles. The drive is rear with 6-speed manual gearbox with the option of an automatic with the same ratio and the brakes produced by Brembo have front self-ventilated discs with dimensional measurements of 280 mm with fixed 4-piston monobloc aluminum caliper.
